Easy Pear Cobbler Recipe idea. An Oven Baked dessert made all in one dish with batter and fresh fruit topped with cinnamon, brown sugar.
Easy Pear Cobbler Recipe
Amazingly easy pear cobbler recipe to make and doesn’t take long to prepare either. A simple Oven Baked dessert or snack to serve for tea. This cobbler is delicious and is a versatile recipe for peaches or apples, which makes a delicious tart. Made with fresh fruit or canned fruit, but using what is in season is best. No crust is needed and the streusel is brown sugar.
Do you eat cobbler warm or cold?
It is best eaten warm with some ice cream or whipped cream. Its a personal taste or preference. This can be eaten cooler or cold.
Why did my cobbler turn out like cake?
The cobbler can turn out like a cake if you use to much batter and the fruit gets pushed down to far in the batter. This will turn out more like a cake. Cobblers are more like an upside down fruit cake.
Why is my cobbler gummy?
Your cobbler may come out gummy or mushy if you use canned fruit or canned pie fillings. The fruits are much softer and can cause the softer mushing filling. Using fresh fruit cooks better for a cobbler.
Should you refrigerate cobbler?
If you need to store the left over cobbler dessert, it is recommended to cover and seal the cobbler and store in the fridge to serve later. It will be good for four days. The cobbler dessert may preferably be frozen uncooked sealed and will be great for three months. Take it out bring to room temperature and bake. Freezing it cooked may make the cobble dough a bit soggy.

How To
When you have cut and cleaned the pears then preheat the oven to required temperature.
Peaches or apples may be used as well. It is really a versatile recipe.
Melt butter in the glass pie dish in the warming oven. This will be the base for the other batter mixture as well. No need for greasing the glass pie bowl.
After mixing the batter, (as per recipe attached) it is spread equally in the butter in the pie dish.
Saves a lot of mess with all the bowls and dishes, you do not need to use. Which is my style of recipe to bake and mix.
Press the cut pears into the batter mixture that was spread evenly in the buttered pie dish, until they are submerged.
Sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon on top and bake until golden brown. (or tested that mixture is baked) This mixture is browner because of the panella brown sugar. I love using brown sugar as it is healthier and the organic eggs and the brown sugar make this recipe darker. If you use white sugar it should be lighter.
Place the finished dish in the oven and bake. Testing its cooked and cool slightly on a cooling rack.
If you desire a cooler pear cobbler pie it is fine.
Cobblers are normally served warm with ice cream or cream. Or even custard, enjoy
