Butter cream cheese mints are known as melt in your mouth mints for weddings or seasonal holiday snacks and treats. They are creamy and soft and delicious. A no bake recipe idea for a candy for kids parties or special occasions such as Christmas and after dinner desserts. Little sweet but minty for a refreshing taste.
Why are my cream cheese mints sticking to the mold?
If you are making these soft cream cheese cany mints in a mold then dust them with some fine castor sugar first so that they do not stick in the mold while you chill them. Alternatively you can place them on a parchment paper that is sprinkled with the fine sugar so that they do not stick, pressing them into a small round cookie shape.

They are made in the same way as this recipe. Except you can add any coloring to suit your wedding theme for these melt in your mouth soft candy mints. Even mold them into molds for a more pleasing candy treat.
Can I use essential oil?
Most essential oils are not food grade oils. But using a brand that is a food grade essential oil is good. I use young living peppermint essential oils. Very carefully use just a little as it is a concentrate.
