Ingredients

  1. 2 T butter melted
  2. 2 T flour and 1/4 t salt, stirred into melted butter
  3. 1 C milk, added and stirred with a wire whisk to prevent lumps

Instructions

  1. To make a white sauce, start with melted butter.
  2. Flour is added and mixed well to not leave lumps.
  3. Then the milk is added stirring continually until all is thickened and smooth,
  4. Pour into a gravy bowl and pour on top of the vegetables or meats and any other way you would prefer to use this white sauce.
