Preheat the oven to 225 Deg. C (450 Deg. F) to bake the pastry crust
Bake the pastry crust for 20- 25 until firm.
In a large bowl add the shredded cooked chicken, fried bacon bits, sauté onion, black beans, grated cheese. Mix all together.
Place these ingredients in the baked crust dish.
In another bowl mix the egg and milk and salt and pepper with thyme well. Then pour over the ingredients in the quiche dish. (for the correct ratio to get a good custard mix, there should be 1 egg per 1/2 cup of milk or cream)
Add some black olives that were sliced on top for decoration.
Turn oven to 150 Deg. C (300 Deg. F)
Bake the quiche for 40-45 minutes until tested baked, and the knife comes out clean.
Place on a cooler rack for at least 10 minutes or so until warm enough to serve. Place the basil leaves on top.
