Chicken Mushroom Bake Recipe. An easy 2 ingredient quick supper or lunch casserole for a quick healthy oven baked family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 4 Chicken breast or pieces of chicken.
  2. 1 packet of Cream of Mushroom dry soup mix
  3. water to cover chicken

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

  1. 1 Tbsp of Garlic flakes and rosemary.
  2. 1 tsp of lemon pepper (soups are salty no need to add any)
  3. 200 g Mushrooms (optional extra)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg. C
  2. Use a Pyrex casserole dish or any dish you like.
  3. Place the clean chicken pieces in the dish.
  4. Mix the soup with 500 ml of water, Stir until dissolved. OR as I do just sprinkle over the chicken and add water to cover the chicken. As long as the soup and water just covers the chicken pieces.
  5. Pour over the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle some rosemary or basil or parsley over the whole bake. (optional)
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes until tender and golden brown.
  8. Serve with the sauce on rice and with a side dish of vegetables or salads.
