Easy Shortbread Pecan Bars

Ingredients
- flour
- salt
- powdered sugar (castor or fine sugar)
- chilled butter
- brown sugar
- honey
- pecan nuts (also use some walnuts)
- heavy cream
- vanilla extract

How To
In a food processor, pulse together the flour, salt, powdered sugar and butter until it forms clumps.
Grease a 9 x 13 pan and press the dough firmly into an even layer covering the bottom of the pan. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In a small saucepan, heat the sugar, honey, pecans and cream until the sugar has dissolved. (About 2 minutes.) Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour over the crust and place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Baked and left to cool until cut up into bars.

I hate to be negative and leave bad reviews but this was the wrong recipe to pick. I should have known 1/2 cup of butter was not enough. I should have doubled that. It cracked and was completely dry. 20 minutes was way too long, 12 would have cooked it. Sad I wasted my time and ingredients.
