Healthy Chocolate Avocado Mousse
An easy and healthy way to make mousse with avocado and cocoa powder with coconut and sweetener. A No Bake chocolate dessert for a starter or just a snack after a meal. Chilled in the fridge and served.
Why is avocado a superfood?
Avocado is high in many minerals and nutrients. A great source of vitamin C, E, K and B6. Also contain riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. Great source of omega 3 fatty acids, beta carotene, lutein. Healthy beneficial fats are in the avocado and will help you feel full during meals.
Can I mix avocado with milk?
Yes you absolutely can. Avocado is used in smoothies and shakes. Its filling and nutritious.
What happens to your gut when you eat avocado?

- Avocados (avocado Flesh)
- coconut milk (or any dairy free milk)
- cocoa powder
- 100% dark chocolate chips
- vanilla Extract.
- salt
- honey (or maple syrup)
Obtain some ripe avocados. When is season you need to make a few meals or desserts with the avocado’s.
This chocolate mousse is sugar free and dairy free, as healthy as you can get.
Coco milk for the mousse is a healthy option. You can use almond milk if you prefer.
For the chocolate flavoring never leave out this cocoa powder, adding some 100 % dark chocolate chips for the sugar free dessert. They would be melted in the recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 Avocados (avocado Flesh)
- 3 – 4 Tbsp of coconut milk (or any dairy free milk)
- 1/4 Cup of cocoa powder
- 1/4 Cup of melted 100% dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla Ess.
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 1/4 Cup of honey (or maple syrup)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a Blender and blend until all is completely smooth.
- Place in the fridge for a while before serving.
- Decorate with chocolate chips or chocolate shavings. Even some whipped cream or nuts will be great.
