Pressed firmly into a greased glass tart or pie dish. The filling is a condensed milk, milk and maizena or cornstarch mix to thicken it, boiled on the stove top. Added to the biscuit base, the filling for a chilled dessert.

- 1 Tin of condensed milk
- 900 ml of milk
- 3 heaped Tbsp of mazena (corn flour for thickening)
- 150 ml of milk (to mix mazena or cornstarch to a paste)
- 1 egg
- 5 ml of vanilla essence (1 tsp)
- cinnamon (to sprinkle on top )
- Biscuits and butter for base of tart.
How To Make
Crush the tennis biscuits or any coconut or graham cracker biscuits you have. Melt the butter and mix with the crumbs, then pressing them into the pie shell.
Bring to boil the milk and condensed milk, and other ingredients. Stir in the cornflour mix and keep
whisking to keep the mixture from becoming lumpy.
Once the milk mixture has thickened pour over the biscuit base.
Fill the glass tart bowl, with all the milk mixture.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the milk tart and leave to cool on a cooling rack.
Refrigerate for a few hours and then the tart will be ready for tea and coffee. enjoy

Ingredients
- 1 Tin of condensed milk
- 900 ml of milk
- 3 heaped Tbsp of maizena (corn flour for thickening)
- 150 ml of milk (to mix mazena to a paste)

Instructions
- Crush biscuits and add some butter to make a crust in a pie dish. Press firmly and place in a fridge.
- Bring to boil the milk and condensed milk.
- Mix the maizena and other milk for a paste.
- Whisk the egg and vanilla then add to the milk and maizena mix. mix well.
- Add some warm milk to the paste and mix and then add to the boiled milk and stir while warming on stove top.
- Keep whisking until the mixture turns thicker.
- Remove and pour onto the biscuit crust, then sprinkle with cinnamon on the top and leave to cool.
- Place the milk tart in the refrigerator till chilled.
- Serve up and enjoy.
