Ingredients
Scale
(225 g) 8 oz of pizza dough (makes one pizza)
1/2 cup of tomato sauce mixed with garlic powder and onion powder, or (pizza tomato sauce)
10 –12 slices or cut up pieces of pepperoni (not to much or to little on pizza topping)
1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese grated
2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese
Italian spices
Few chopped green onion (to garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200 Deg. C (400 Deg. F)
Spray and cook a cast iron pan.
Roll out the pizza dough to the diameter needed, allowing for the edge to go up the side of the cast iron pan.
Add the tomato sauce evenly, made with garlic and onion spices.
Sprinkle some of the grated mozzarella cheese on top of the tomato base. Leaving some for the topping. We add the cheese first as the pepperoni has fat in, and when it cooks leaves the base a little fatty. The topping will slide off of the pizza base when cut or eaten.
Add the pepperoni slices or strips or chopped into pieces (as you would prefer it) on top of the cheese and spread them out. Note that to much will cause the pizza to become fatty. To little slices make the pizza tasteless.
Add a little more of the mozzarella on top and sprinkle some parmesan on top of that.
Sprinkle some Italian spices on the cheese.
Place the cast iron pan on a heated stove top and prebake the pizza crust for about 2 minutes or so.
Taking it off of the stove and placing the cast iron pan in the oven to bake for the rest of the time of 12 minutes or so until you see the cheese has melted and side crust has cooked and looks a little golden brown. Add some green chopped onion. or basil.
Placed the pizza on a board and cut with a pizza cutter, serve after about 2 minutes while warm.
Serve with a side dish such as a salad or other sauces to dip in.
Notes
Eaten warm is best but having left over cold slices is fine to.
