Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 large egg
  2. 1 teaspoon of milk or water
  3. 1 packet or(14 oz)of mini cocktail smoked sausages
  4. 1 roll of 550 g, bought puff pastry dough about (8 oz)
  5. Some salt for optional seasoning

Instructions

  1. Grease a rimed baking pan sheet or line it with parchment paper. Arrange the rack on the oven in the middle. Preheat the oven to 190 deg. C (375 deg. F).
  2. The mini cocktail sausages should be patted dry with a paper towel. Whisk the egg and milk until combined. This will be needed to paste the puff pastry with to brown the cocktails.
  3. Unroll the puff pastry dough on a floured surface. Roll to smooth it out a little. You will need to cut out 24 triangles that will be able to roll up the small sausages.
  4. Start to roll up one sausage from the wide edge of the triangle, until you come to the pointed edge. Continue to do that with all your pieces.
  5. Place these puff pastry rolls seem at the side, on the greased baking sheets. Spacing them apart.
  6. Brush all the mini pigs in a blanket pastry with the egg wash for browning. Add the optional sprinkle of salt on top.
  7. Place in the oven and bake, for about 15 minutes until golden brown. The puff pastry should be puffed up.
  8. Serve with some tomato or honey mustard sauce. Or your favorite dipping sauce.
  9. This makes a appetizing mini snack for parties and gatherings. Warm or room temperature.
