Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce
Make this condiment easily and only takes 10 minutes. Cool and fill an airtight jar with the ingredients to store in the refrigerator. It should store for at least a week. It is all natural ingredients and using no colorants or additives.
Ingredients.
A few of the main ingredients, for this sweet chili sauce. Used this Piquillo Chili that we have on the farm in Ecuador South America. Its very hot and it is recommended to use less then taste as you prefer the hotness of the sauce.

Garlic and ginger
Collect the ingredients and a clean air tight jar to place the sweet chili sauce in once made.
How To
Chop and blend the chili and garlic and ginger or blend them finely. All you have to do is add the ingredients in a pot and heat up. Make the cornstarch or (Mazena) mixture to add in once it is ready and stir until it thickens.
Once cooled pour this sweet chili sauce in an air tight jar and store in the fridge for use at home.
This homemade mixture is simple and easy and uses all natural ingredients.
This sweet chili condiment is versatile and may be used on meals as preferred and according to tastes.
This sauce is made with brown panella sugar and using rice vinegar is better as white vinegar is stronger.

Ingredients
1/3 Cup of rice vinegar
1/3 cup of water
1/3 cup of sugar plus 2 tablespoons
1Tablespoon of rice vinegar
1 teaspoon of hot chili finely chopped.(blended)
1 1/2 teaspoon of chopped fine garlic cloves
1 teaspoon of finely chopped ginger
1 teaspoon of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon of water
Instructions
In a sauce pan place all the ingredient in (but not the cornstarch mixture.) Bring this to a boil stirring regularly until the sugar has been dissolved.
Once the sugar has been dissolved stir in the cornstarch mixture and mix to a smooth consistancy until it thickens. (maybe about a minute)
Take off and leave to cool, then fill an airtight jar with this sweet chili sauce. Keep in the refrigerator for about a week and this mixture should make about 1 cup.
