- 1 Tsp of Himalayan Salt (garlic salt)
- 1 Tsp of Baking Powder
- 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil (avocado oil)
- 1 Cup of lukewarm Water
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients and pour the oil in slowly as you mix.
- Then add your water in slowly as you mix it continually. Till dough is formed.
- Keep needing the dough until it is not sticky anymore,
- Leave it to rest for about 10 minutes.
- Dive your dough into even pieces on floured surfaces. Then form the dough into a ball.
- Then on the well floured surface roll out the ball to a round tortilla shape. Evenly all over even the edges.
- Preheat slightly oiled or non stick pan or skillet on medium heat, then cook the tortilla for about a minute on each side.
- Keep them warm under a wrapped towel until ready to serve and fill.
Notes
Reheat tortillas by wrapping a stack in paper towels and reheating in the microwave. You can also wrap them in foil and reheat them in the oven. They can be frozen as well in a tightly sealed zip lock bag.
