Quick Homemade Tortilla Recipe. Most of the time a person purchases some tortillas, but these are so quick and easy to make at home, tastier.

Ingredients

Scale
  1. 3 Cups of Flour
  2. 1 Tsp of Himalayan Salt (garlic salt)
  3. 1 Tsp of Baking Powder
  4. 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil (avocado oil)
  5. 1 Cup of lukewarm Water

Instructions

  1. Combine all dry ingredients and pour the oil in slowly as you mix.
  2. Then add your water in slowly as you mix it continually. Till dough is formed.
  3. Keep needing the dough until it is not sticky anymore, 
  4. Leave it to rest for about 10 minutes.
  5. Dive your dough into even pieces on floured surfaces. Then form the dough into a ball.
  6. Then on the well floured surface roll out the ball to a round tortilla shape. Evenly all over even the edges.
  7. Preheat slightly oiled or non stick pan or skillet on medium heat, then cook the tortilla for about a minute on each side.
  8. Keep them warm under a wrapped towel until ready to serve and fill.

Notes

Reheat tortillas by wrapping a stack in paper towels and reheating in the microwave. You can also wrap them in foil and reheat them in the oven. They can be frozen as well in a tightly sealed zip lock bag.
