Ingredients

Scale
  1. 1 Medium ripe watermelon (servings will depend on the size of the watermelon)
  2. 1.lime
  3. 1 Tablespoon of organic Honey
  4. a sprig of mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Obtain one ripe watermelon, Slice it up and remove the pips. Peel the skin off. Then cube it with and place the watermelon cubes in a plastic container, seal it with the lid and place in the freezer overnight to freeze. About 8 hours or until frozen. Leave out at room temperature for about 5 minutes so the frozen cubes blend easier.
  2. Place in the blender the frozen watermelon cubes and add the juice of the lime, a tablespoon of honey. Blend them lightly so that they are all incorporated. But you do not want to over blend them. It should be a scoopable consistency. Not a liquid.
  3. Scoop out with an ice cream scoop into glasses or dessert jars. Add a piece of watermelon to individual glasses and enjoy on a hot day a slushie for the summer. Insert a rosemary sprig leaf.
  4. A healthy cooling drink.
