- 1/4 cup soft butter
- 2 tablespoons of organic pure honey
- 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- Himalayan salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 12 medium carrots (1 lbs.), peeled and halved lengthwise
- Fresh thyme, or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200 Deg. C (400 deg. F)
- In a pan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in honey, rosemary, and garlic powder and season with salt and pepper. Take the pan of the stove top.
- Place carrots in the pan with the butter and honey and coat them well.
- Place the coated carrots in a baking tray that was greased evenly.
- Roast until soft and tender and that they look a little light brown for 20-25 minutes. Test that they are tender with a knife or skewer.
- Garnish with chopped fresh thyme or parsley, before serving.
- Makes a delicious tasty side dish for meals.
