Ingredients

    1. 1/2 head cauliflower
    2. 2 Heaped tablespoons of unsalted butter (check to see if there is enough with the cauliflower rice)
    3. fine Himalayan salt to taste
    4. Fresh ground black pepper, to taste (always taste to see that there is enough)

Instructions

  1. Wash the cauliflower head with florets.
  2. Cut the florets small and then either grate with a grater on the larges holes. Or insert the florets in a small blender to make into rice size pieces.
  3. With a medium warm pan on the stove plate, add some butter and then the cauliflower rice.
  4. Sauté the rice. Sprinkle on the salt and pepper to taste. Bring it up to the medium heat, stir a little to toss all the rice around to cook evenly.
  5. Place a lid on the pan and leave to soften in the steam for a minute or two. This all together should take no more than 5 -8 minutes.
  6. Serve as a side dish or use in stir fries. A healthy and most delicious vegetable dish to serve.
