Ingredients

  1. 1 Package of Strawberry Crunch Crumbles
  2. 1/2 Cup of Powdered Sugar
  3. 12 Ounces of Traditional Chex mix
  4. 1/2 cup of Red and Pink Candy Coated Chocolate
  5. 6 Ounces of White Melting Chocolate
  6. 1 Cup of Freeze Dried Strawberries
  7. Valentine Sprinkle Mix

Instructions

  1. Grind the freeze dried strawberries with coffee grinder, blender, or simply just smash them inside of Ziplock bag.
  2. Combine the ground freeze dried strawberries with the powdered sugar.
  3. Put the strawberry shortcake crunch in another zip lock bag.
  4. Put the white candy melts in a microwave safe bowl and melt them in 30 second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
  5. Pour 10 ounces of the Chex mix into the bowl of melted chocolate, mix it up with a spatula and make sure all the Chex mix is completely covered.
  6. Scoop out half the chocolate covered Chex mix, place it in the bag with the strawberry shortcake crunch crumbles and place the other half of the Chex mix in the strawberry powdered sugar mixture.
  7. Make sure the zip lock bag is closed completely and then shake it to make sure all the Chex mix gets covered.
  8. Repeat this step for the bag with the strawberry shortcake crunch mixture.
  9. Pour both strawberry Chex mixes on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper to dry.
  10. Add your uncovered Chex mix, in with the covered mix.
  11. Next sprinkle the valentine sprinkles and candy coated chocolates all over the strawberry shortcake Chex mix.
  12. Let the mix dry and then put the Strawberry Chex mix blend on a dish to Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

  • These can be stored in a zip lock bag or airtight container in a cool dry place for 4 days.
  • These can be frozen in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks. Just note that when they come to room temperature they may not have the same crunch that a fresh batch has.
  • You can substitute this recipe with brown chocolate if you want a dark chocolate strawberry mix.
