INGREDIENTS

HOW TO
In a large mixing bowl whip together softened butter and powdered sugar. Add egg and vanilla and whip until well incorporated. Add your flour and cornstarch to your bowl and fold in until incorporated, don’t over mix.

Roll dough into 24, 1 inch balls.
Use your finger to press a heart shape into each dough ball. For other seasons or needing another design just improvise with a print or use anything to achieve you pattern. These would make an amazing Valentines cookie for snack.
Carefully spoon 1 tsp of strawberry jam or puree into the heart shape.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool on a cooling rack.

DOUGH MIXTURE
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
FILLING
- ¾ cup strawberry jam or puree

1. Preheat oven to 176 Deg. C (350 deg. F.) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl whip together softened butter and powdered sugar.
3. Add egg and vanilla and whip until well incorporated.
4. Add your flour and cornstarch to your bowl and fold in until incorporated, don’t over mix.
5. Roll dough into 24, 1 inch balls.
